Gherkins Sports is a trilogy where cornichon pickles are anthropomorphized and have become soccer players (an onion becomes the ball and goalkeeper guards an empty jar), discotheque-goers under moody lights and fighters in a ring (of a tin can) evoking an uncanny resemblance to the human form.
