What if you could turn the world inside out like a sock to discover the other side? Building upon the notion that the surface of things correspond to the boundary that separates the ordinary from the extraordinary, and parallelistic exercise of the inside out surface as the inversion of relief that in turn becomes volumes devoid of substance thus revealing the characteristics of the world hitherto unsuspected, the series presents the eversion of the animal side that is normally invisible to us. The real skin of a dog, a rabbit, a ferret, moles and other small mammals were turned inside out – the fur side becoming the non-visible, non-surface side – posing the primal question of the animality within humanity and vice versa.
