Porcelain, celadon and temmoku glaze

Variable dimensions

Two sets of porcelain objects are molded from contemporary utilitarian plastic vessels in a traditional manner with temmoku (black) and celadon (turquoise) glazes. The paring of the modern elements with the old-fashioned ones together and against each other creates a tension and blurs the notion of modern and tradition.
